Jesus Help Bella-bee!

Annabella is quite the conversationalist these days, and so many people keep telling me I should write all the fun things she says down.... and they're right I should! So here I go. :-) I have several more "thought-provoking" posts rattling around in my head, that perhaps one of these days I'll get down to actually writing, but for now... enjoy Annabella's little quips of wisdom.

* After nursing for a couple of seconds one evening, her eyes got really big and she smiled and said, "Spicy milky!! That's better."

* "Mommy, milky not coming out this side. Need other side." Ok... we switch sides. After a couple of seconds, her eyes get really big again, "Yay! Mommy! Milky coming out now! That's better."

* She's currently terrified of any bug that flies :-(.... but the one good part in this sad saga is that every time she sees a bug flying around she says, "Jesus... please make bug go outside. Bella scared of bug." And then she says, "mommy, open door please, Jesus make bug go outside." Thus far... EVERY bug she's prayed to have go outside, has faithfully flown outside nearly the second I open the door. And every time they do, her eyes get super big and she says, "JESUS MADE THE BUG GO OUTSIDE!!! Thank you Jesus! Jesus helped Bellabee." (I call her Bellabee some times :-) ).

* Bella's version of Green Eggs and Ham: "Try geen eggs and ham?" Then with a very loud and emphatic voice and lots of hand gestures, "No, no, no!! Don't like it! Don't like eggs and ham! Go away! No like it with mouse or in house. No don't like it." Then again in a sweet voice... "Try it? LIke it? Eggs and Ham?" Then emphatically again, "No, no, no! Don't like green eggs and ham! Go away!" This continues for a while and then, I hear in a whisper... "Try eggs and ham?" "Ok... try it" (in a voice with a big sigh in it)...... dramatic pause..... Excitedly and joyfully she says "I LIKE GEEN EGGS AND HAM! I DO!!! Thank you thank you!"

* Nose to nose with me, "Mommy? Play farm-barn pease?" Her little Fisher Price farm is one of her FAVORITES!

* I drop something in the kitchen (which happens oh so often) and make a loud crash sound..... from the other room where she's playing, "Mommy, ok?"

* "Mommy, hold you?" With arms outstreched for me to hold her.

* And one of my favorites, if I'm ever sad or upset, she gets close to my face and says, "Mommy sad. Need mommy?" I say, "Yes, I need my mommy." She says, "Aw... come here, hugs" and gives me a big, big hug. Then she looks at me and says, "Mommy, pray, Jesus help your heart. And Jesus help Bellabee's heart too." I can't ever stay sad or upset after THAT! :-)
